The £71 million A483/A489 Newtown Bypass was completed in February 2019, alleviating congestion in Newtown, Powys. This award-winning infrastructure project, constructed by Alun Griffiths Contractors Ltd, spans 5km of new carriageway and includes 5 roundabouts, 11 retaining walls, and 7 bridges.
Our Contribution

Concrete Supply for Tir Gwynt Wind Farm
Project Overview
The Tir Gwynt Wind Farm in Mid Wales consists of 12 wind turbines with a total capacity of 24 MW, providing clean electricity to approximately 16,000 homes annually. Construction began in March 2016 and was completed by November 2016, saving an estimated 25,585 tonnes of CO2 each year. This renewable energy project represents an important contribution to Wales’ green energy infrastructure.
Our Contribution
